[shadow=dimgray,left,300]TRADING SEQUENCE[/shadow]
There is a long and tedious trading sequence in Oracle of Seasons, but the end product is definitely worth the effort. After all, who could say no to...well, you'll have to find out yourself.
Cuccodex
In the winter, visit Horon Village and travel to the bottom right of the city one screen right from the Ember Seed tree. Enter the biologist's home and meet Dr. Left, who can't read because it is too dark in his home. Simply light his torches and he will present you with the Cuccodex.
Lon Lon Egg
Take your newly acquired Cuccodex to a screen north of where you first met Din at the celebration. There you will meet Malon, who is very interested in the Cuccodex. She will offer her Lon Lon Egg if you give her the Cuccodex. Make the trade.
Ghastly Doll
The next person you should be looking for is Maple, for she has always wanted a Lon Lon Egg. The next time you run into her, you will only drop the egg. Once she spots it, she will give you the Ghastly Doll in exchange for it.
Iron Pot
In the western part of Holodrum Plain, you will find a small red house. Inside lives the Mayor's wife, Mrs. Ruul, who has a rather odd problem. She is very hot all the time, and the pool in her house doesn't cool her off. She needs something to give her chills down her spine, like the Ghastly Doll! She will then give you the Iron Pot in exchange.
Lava Soup
In Subrosia, visit the Chef's Kitchen in the northwest portion of the village. He will be very gracious and trade your Iron Pot for some delicious Lava Soup.
[bGoron Vase[/b]
Visit Biggoron by traveling up the mountains via the secret entrance from Sunken City. Once you meet up with Biggoron, offer him your Lava Soup to cure his sickness. In gratitude, he will give you his Goron Vase.
Fish
Visit Ingo the vase collector in the Sunken City. Once inside his house, he will go berserk when he notices you have the piece to complete his collection, the Goron Vase. He will take the vase and give you a mere Fish in return.
Megaphone
Travel back to the area near Eyeglass Lake and find the old man and his cat. Give the man to Fish to lure down his cat, and he will present you his Megaphone for helping him.
Mushroom
Back on Mt. Cucco, travel to the cave where Talon is sleeping. Use your Megaphone to wake him up with a start. He will then give you his Mushroom.
Wooden Bird
Travel once again to the Sunken City and change the season to Winter. Climb up the southern snow mounds to the Witch's Hut. Give them the prized ingredient, the smelly Mushroom, and they will give you a tiny Wooden Bird.
Engine Grease
Come back to Horon Village and visit the clock maker's house. Offer him your Wooden Bird for his clock, and he will give you some Engine Grease.
Phonograph
Travel to the Windmill right outside Horon Village, and climb to the top of it to meet Guru Guru. Give him the Engine Grease for the Windmill, and he will present you with his Phonograph.
Noble Sword
After traveling past the Lost Woods, play the Phonograph for the music-loving Deku Scrub. He will then give you vital information on how to find the Nobel Sword, a legendary weapon of Holodrum!
