[shadow=dimgray,left,300]TRADING SEQUENCE[/shadow]
Link will come across some strange items while traveling throughout Labrynnia. Though these may appear useless at first, they can exchanged for other items, and exchanged again, until Link comes up with something that is far from useless indeed.
Poe Clock
First you must get the Poe Clock in Yoll Graveyard in the present. Talk to the friendly ghost and after he disappears, push the the tombstone up to reveal a secret passage. Go inside speak to the ghost again, the exit and speak to him once more and you will receive the Poe Clock.
Letter Set
Go to Lynna Village in the past, and head for the Post Office. Once you reach it, get inside and speak to the Postman. Give him the Poe Clock you recently acquired. Go back outside and you will see that he has dropped the Letter Set for you to keep.
Stink Bag
Stay in Lynna Village, but now go to the most western part of the village to reach the toilet. There, you will find a mysterious hand. Trade your letter set to the hand for the Stink Bag.
Tasty Meat
Now you must return to the present and head for Crescent Island. On the lower right-most part of the island you will find a Tokay with a cold. Give him the Stink Bag and as a reward you will get the Tasty Meat.
Doggie Mask
Way up on Talus Peaks in the present, you will find the Happy Mask Shop. Simply talk to the Happy Mask Salesman and trade your Tasty Meat for the Doggie Mask.
Dumbbell
Still in the present, go back to Lynna City and speak to Mamamu Yan (the lady with the dog). She will ask you to trade your Doggie Mask for the Dumbbell, which would definately be a clever move!
Cheesy Moustache
In the past, in Symmetry Village, talk to the man in the basement of the house in the center of the village. Trade your Dumbbell for his Cheesy Moustache. Stylish? Maybe not, but at least it'll get you the next item.
Funny Joke
Return to the present. Head for Lynna City, and talk to the well-dressed comedian when you get there. He will give give you his Funny Joke in exchange for your Mustache. A fair trade? Of course.
Touching Book
Once again travel back in time to the past, and go to the Decadent House in Lynna Village. Talk to the boy you meet inside and tell him the Funny Joke. He will offer you the Touching Book in return.
Magical Oar
To get this piece, you must bump into Maple and let her take your Touching Book, because if you do she will give you the Magical Oar. Maple shows up after you have slain a certain number of Overworld enemies, so just go on a killing spree to get her to come your way!
Sea Ukulele
Remain in the past, and head straight to the South Shore, and visit Rafton's House. Talk to Rafton and give him the Magical Oar, and you will get the Sea Ukulele in return. No time to learn to play it, though; you've nearly got to the end of your trading!
Broken Sword
Once you have got the Sea Ukulele from Rafton, head to the Forest east of Lynna Village, one screen above the one where the father and son are playing catch. Jump over the pits here, then take one screen right, one down, and then down one more screen (with the help of the Switch Hook to pass the pits). Now you should see a cave. Inside you will find an old Zora who will be glade to trade you the Broken Sword for your Sea Ukulele. Great...a broken weapon. What good is that?
Noble Sword
You are only one trade away from receiving the grand prize, but first you must go to Restoration Wall and speak with Patch. He will ask you to perform a rather odd ceremony with him, but all you really need to do is is to make the Hardhat Beatles fall into the pits. It can be tricky at first, but you have as many tries as you need so just be patient, and you will eventually get it. Then, receive your very much deserved Noble Sword!
